About the Job

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with maps and charts, have a strong interest in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry, and possess excellent drafting and drawing skills. As a Technical Engineer with the Army National Guard, you will have the chance to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting site development and preparing construction plans and specifications
  • Providing technical support for construction projects
  • Working with Computer Aided Drafting technology
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
  • Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
  • Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $200-$250 per drill weekend (approximately $8,000-$10,000 per year) for non-prior service candidates, plus benefits and bonuses. Actual salary may vary based on MOS assignment and location.
