As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace team, you'll lead our development efforts to build a technology platform that will act as the central marketplace for our cloud's software offerings.

You'll be responsible for building services where our customers will go to purchase pre-configured software installations on the platform of their choice. This will involve working across the entire stack, from back-end distributed services to e-commerce transactions and web apps.

This is a perfect role for someone experienced in writing code across an entire stack, especially in a start-up style environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead development efforts to build the technology platform for the Oracle Cloud Marketplace
  • Build services for customers to purchase pre-configured software installations
  • Work across the entire stack, from back-end distributed services to e-commerce transactions and web apps
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant work experience
  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • Proficient in Java, GoLang, Python, algorithm design, object-oriented design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
  • Proficient in Javascript, Web UIs, HTTP
  • Experience with designing, launching, and maintaining distributed systems at scale
