About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to oversee our field and warehouse operations teams. This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing the operations of both the field and warehouse teams, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and overall warehouse management for our Northwest, Midwest, and NorCal regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Field Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the moving and storage teams, manage and mentor leads, senior leads, and area managers, ensuring they meet performance and service delivery standards.
  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval processes, implement and maintain inventory management systems to track the movement and storage of items.
  • General Management: Develop and manage budgets for field and warehouse operations, analyze operational data and generate reports to inform strategic decisions, foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Technology, or a STEM-related field preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the moving, storage, or warehousing industries.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate large teams.
  • Experience with continuous improvement, Lean/Six Sigma concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using operations management software and tools.
