Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join our team at Jobot. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing workers' compensation defense cases, including pre-trial investigations, discovery, motions practice, and trial preparation. This role involves direct case management, strategic legal analysis, and collaboration with senior attorneys to deliver superior defense strategies for our clients. You will engage directly with clients to update them on case progress and to understand their objectives, providing timely and effective legal advice during all stages of litigation. You will conduct comprehensive legal research on relevant issues, including state and federal laws pertaining to workers' compensation, and draft well-researched memoranda, motions, and other legal documents. You will also appear in court for hearings, motions, and trials, representing clients with professionalism and effective advocacy.

Key Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.)
- Must be admitted to practice in California
- Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience demonstrating a proven track record of success
- Experience in workers' compensation defense is not required but will be considered an asset
