Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Workforce Resources. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling component parts according to customer specifications.
About the RoleThis is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently. You will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and must be able to follow specific instructions and directions.
Key Responsibilities- Safely and efficiently assemble component parts according to customer specifications
- Operate hand tools as required to complete assembly process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete pre-shift/startup equipment inspection checklist and report any problems or concerns
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
- 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of basic math
- Able to work in a safe manner and recognize size/grade/quality of material
- Demonstrate ability to follow specific instructions and directions
- Ability to use and operate hand tools
- Ability to stack material properly
In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
- Monday to Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays
- 6:00am to 2:00pm shifts with overtime as required
- $19.00 per hour
