Precast Concrete Laborer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Precast Concrete Laborer to join our Production team at High Concrete Group LLC. As a Precast Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for setting up, stripping, and pouring concrete to create panels and slabs for various projects, including parking garages, sports complexes, and office/retail buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review prints with attention to detail to ensure accurate setup and pouring of concrete
  • Pour concrete to create panels and slabs
  • Set up forms using a tape measure and place steel in forms
  • Use bolt cutters to cut mesh and concrete saws to cut strand
  • Handle oil sprayers to spray oil into forms
Requirements:
  • Prior construction, roofing, hardscaping, or similar background required
  • Comfortable operating measuring tape to 1/16th of an inch
  • Good with taking instructions, taking feedback, and working as a part of a team
  • A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required
  • Basic math and measurement skills needed, as well as knowledge of various hand, power, and measurement tools
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment critical
  • Prior concrete and/or construction experience helpful, but not required
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints a plus
