Job Summary

Thalle Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pipe Utility Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our heavy civil construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of utility infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Coordinate with and direct the activity of all jobsite crews, subcontractors, and material and equipment providers.
  • Accurately report all jobsite time and activity, review performance-to-plan with Project Engineer and or Project Manager to adjust the following day's assignments, resources, and schedules.
  • Monitor all job site activity and make adjustments in assignments as necessary for the master plan, schedule, and budget.
  • Work from contract documents, project plans, and schedules and other relevant information to create a weekly/daily project work plans.
  • Conduct work with 100% integrity and professionalism.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to review and understand plans, specifications, and drawings.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a field environment.
  • Proficient in written and verbal business communications skills.
  • Ability to give and receive written or oral instructions.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationship with office and field personnel.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
