Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Electrical Infrastructure Project Director to join our team at PM2CM in Pomona, CA. This is a hybrid-remote position that offers the opportunity to work on exciting electrical infrastructure projects for one of the largest Utility Companies in Southern California.

About the Role:

The primary purpose of this role is to improve project success rates by applying project management principles, methods, tools, and standards. As a Master Electrical Infrastructure Project Director, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of functions and projects across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple construction projects with complex Engineering-Procurement-Construction-Closeout phases spanning across 24 months or more
  • Issue Authorization to Construct and ensure all project pre-requisites are completed to facilitate timely construction start
  • C coordinate with multiple stakeholders and ensure deliverable hand-offs between them are done efficiently
  • Communicate project status, progress, budget, and cost information effectively to stakeholders and senior management
  • Facilitate project team meetings and ensure key decisions and action items are documented and communicated
  • Resolve issues promptly, establish task priorities, and manage conflicts with team members and functional managers
  • possess strong Project Management core competencies in Planning, Scheduling, Cost tracking, Risk Analysis, and Mitigation
  • Experience working with field Construction Managers and Contractors is preferred
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable profession, business, or technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, preferably in a consulting environment
  • Skilled in using MS Excel and Access
  • PMP or PMI-ACP certification is preferred but not required
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid-remote position that requires occasional presence in the office/field (Tuesday and Wednesday)
