The Industrial Maintenance Technician position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production facilities by performing a variety of maintenance duties. This role requires a high level of mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions and other technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a mechanical or maintenance-related role; experience with power tools, hand tools, and equipment maintenance preferred.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
