The Clinician plays a crucial role in delivering therapeutic and educational treatment services tailored to the individual needs of clients, adhering to established practice standards and agency guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive social histories, assessments, treatment plans, and documentation for assigned clients in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate individual counseling sessions and lead educational and therapeutic groups, ensuring accurate record-keeping of these interactions.
  • Design and implement educational and therapeutic programs for group settings involving clients and their families.
  • Guide clients in understanding and executing goal-oriented treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, community resources, and referral agencies to coordinate comprehensive services for clients.
  • Participate in staff meetings, supervisory sessions, and clinical oversight to maintain effective clinic operations.
  • Provide both in-person and Telehealth sessions on a weekly basis.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Work Environment:

This role is situated within a residential treatment facility and outpatient clinic, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers and printers.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position include effective communication, close vision tasks, lifting files, and prolonged computer use.

Position Type and Work Hours:

This is a full-time role that may require weekend and on-call duties. Flexible work arrangements, including remote options, are available.

Travel Requirements:

Minimal travel is expected for this position.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. or Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Fully or provisionally licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LAT by the relevant licensing board, or eligible for licensure if currently licensed in another state.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly in addiction treatment.
