Welder Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Perform low volume hand welding operations, including MIG welding of various tube and stamping combinations.
- Operate semi-automated high volume welding stations.
- Assist in welding problem-solving initiatives.
- Meet quality standards and adhere to all elements of the quality management system.
- Other miscellaneous activities as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) certificate.
- Six months to one-year hands-on knowledge/experience of welding principles and techniques.
- Able to submit objective evidence of such experience.
- Welding coursework, diplomas, certificates are a definite plus.
- Ability to lift 15-20 lbs repeatedly throughout the work day.
- Ability to stand long periods of time while running all machine operations.
- Ability to read and write, complete basic math functions, interpret work documents, drawings, and blueprints.
Working Conditions:
The Welder will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to various materials, including aluminum, carbon, and stainless steel. The work environment will be fast-paced, with a focus on meeting production deadlines.
