Welder Specialist

Job SummaryPowerbrace Corporation is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Kenosha, Wisconsin. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing low volume hand welding operations, including MIG welding of various tube and stamping combinations. You will also be required to operate semi-automated high volume welding stations and assist in welding problem-solving initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Perform low volume hand welding operations, including MIG welding of various tube and stamping combinations.
• Operate semi-automated high volume welding stations.
• Assist in welding problem-solving initiatives.
• Meet quality standards and adhere to all elements of the quality management system.
• Other miscellaneous activities as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) certificate.
• Six months to one-year hands-on knowledge/experience of welding principles and techniques.
• Able to submit objective evidence of such experience.
• Welding coursework, diplomas, certificates are a definite plus.
• Ability to lift 15-20 lbs repeatedly throughout the work day.
• Ability to stand long periods of time while running all machine operations.
• Ability to read and write, complete basic math functions, interpret work documents, drawings, and blueprints.

The Welder will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to various materials, including aluminum, carbon, and stainless steel. The work environment will be fast-paced, with a focus on meeting production deadlines.
