Job Summary:
The Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services within our healthcare facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting patients with daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and providing compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Transport patients safely and efficiently within the facility
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to support the smooth operation of the nursing unit
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Basic Life Support certification preferred
- Previous hospital experience preferred
- Certified Nurse Aide certification in Kentucky
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately
- Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to move or lift patients and equipment
- Ability to work independently within general guidelines
