Painter Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at The Staffing Resource Group Inc. As a Painter, you will be responsible for assisting painters with paint preparation, applying coatings, and operating painting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist painters with paint preparation, including cleaning, masking/unmasking, and taping holes following established manufacturing instructions.
- Apply coatings such as enamels, lacquer, paint, or other protective materials using a spray gun, brushes, or other application methods to various surfaces.
- Adjust and direct spray applications to achieve the specified finish.
- Operate and maintain both automatic and non-automatic painting, spraying, and dipping equipment.
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and perform routine maintenance as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and ensure a clean and organized work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent required (no advanced degree necessary).
- Experience with spray guns, painting equipment, and surface preparation is a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move objects as required by the job.
- Comfortable working in environments where protective gear is necessary, such as masks and gloves.
- Long term contract with potential for permanent employment.
- Competitive hourly rate: $20 - $27/hr.
- Located in Archbald, PA (fully on site).
- Government/Defense industry.
