About the Role

The successful candidate will work in a thriving 149-bed acute care hospital, specifically in the Cardiac Cath department, which boasts a 6-bed pre/post recovery and 2 biplane Cath Lab unit.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Cath lab and pre/post recovery areas.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient treatment.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the physician.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of full-time RN experience in either a hospital ICU unit or a hospital Cath Lab.
  • Current certification as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
  • Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
