We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a group home setting. Our client is committed to providing exceptional care and support in group home programs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Nursing Care Planning: Develop nursing plans to support the health care needs of the individuals we serve.
  2. Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, keeping meticulous records and monitoring for any side effects or reactions.
  3. Health Monitoring: Monitor medical and dental needs, addressing any health issues promptly and coordinating with the healthcare team.
  4. Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other professionals to create and implement effective care plans, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  5. Emergency Response: Act swiftly and effectively in medical emergencies, providing first aid and emergency interventions as needed, and liaising with emergency services when required.
  6. Health Education: Educate individuals and staff about health conditions and treatment plans, as well as provide guidance on health-related matters.
  7. Medical Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  8. Compliance: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices, maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
Requirements
  1. Valid RN License: Current registration in NY.
  2. Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  3. Experience: Experience in group home, long-term care, or similar settings preferred.
  4. Clinical Skills: Strong clinical skills, with a focus on assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  6. Certification: Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
  7. Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible schedule to adapt to varying needs and individual requirements.
