Emory Healthcare is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine team at Emory University Hospital Midtown. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with high-risk obstetric conditions
- Document patient care and medical records accurately and thoroughly
- Conduct patient interviews and gather medical histories, psychosocial histories, and health status information
- Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician
- Assist in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- At least one year of direct experience in high-acuity clinical specialties, preferably in labor and delivery
- Current BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications, with ACLS certification may be required in some areas
