Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough assessments of patient histories and support systems in both hospital and rehabilitation environments.
2. Identify and address the educational needs of patients and their families.
3. Formulate and implement individualized care plans, engaging patients and families in the process.
4. Recommend appropriate interventions based on patient assessments.
5. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make necessary adjustments.
6. Resolve moderately complex issues independently, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
7. Actively participate in unit activities and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
8. Mentor and guide nursing students and new staff as required, providing constructive feedback on their clinical performance.
Qualifications:
Education:
Must possess the educational background necessary to meet the licensing requirements for registered nursing.
Experience:
A minimum of three years of professional nursing experience is required.
Licensure:
Current and valid Tennessee RN license is mandatory. CPR certification is also required.

The Clinical Nurse III is expected to adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety standards while completing annual educational requirements. This role involves supervision of LPNs, Nursing Assistants, and other support staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained throughout the unit.
