Role Overview

As our Chief Operating Officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our strategy, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the smooth execution of our decentralized AI platform and protocol. This position requires a reliable hands-on operational leader with strong technical understanding and the ability to stay on top of multiple operational areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership and Execution: Collaborate with the CEO and CTO to define and implement the company's strategic vision, ensuring team productivity and accountability.
  • Operational Excellence: Design and optimize workflows to enhance productivity, scalability, and operational efficiency. Lead the implementation of systems for continuous improvement and high-velocity execution.
  • Protocol Support: Support our protocol team to drive the development, deployment, and scaling of our decentralized AI protocols, ensuring technical progress, legal, financial, and other support.
  • Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team across various functions, fostering a strong culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, datacenters, and our broader customers.
  • Financial Management: Work with our fractional CFO to develop and manage budgets, optimize resource allocation, and ensure financial stability and growth.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and maintaining the highest standards of security and ethics.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of successful operational leadership in fast-paced, high-growth technology startups, preferably in the AI space.
  • Deep understanding of AI research and protocols.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Strong business sense and financial management skills, with experience in fundraising and investor relations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
