Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift Position

The Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift Position is a key role within the Maintenance and Reliability team at Baltimore Aircoil Company. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and facility work orders in a safe and quality-conscious manner. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including PMs, facility work orders, and equipment repairs
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe and quality-conscious manner
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to achieve daily work order production and project milestones
- Replenish supplies, including parts, tools, and consumables
- Build and fabricate jigs, assists, and templates as needed
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, lift trucks, and gantry cranes
- Perform basic maintenance on pumps, compressors, piping systems, and other equipment
- Work from technical manuals, specifications, shop drawings, and schematics
- Interface effectively with production and maintenance personnel
- 1-2 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance
- Demonstrated competent writing and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, specifications, and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced and may involve exposure to elevated noise levels, temperature fluctuations, and intermittent exposure to the weather.
