We are seeking a skilled Tap and Assembly Specialist to join our team at Access Dubuque. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating tap machines, assembling products, and ensuring all items meet our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate tap machines to secure or remove caps, lids, or other closures from various products.
  • Assemble products by following detailed instructions, including manual assembly tasks and the use of small hand tools.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet or exceed our company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and assembly tasks.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tap and assembly equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that arise during the shift.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a manufacturing/assembly environment is preferred.
  • Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools are beneficial.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and perform tasks with precision.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods during the shift.
  • Requires manual dexterity to operate machinery and handle small parts.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and move objects as needed.
  • Requires visual acuity to inspect products and documentation.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Compensation:

$17-$20 per hour

Work Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 2:15 pm to 12:45 am
