Key Responsibilities:

  1. Complete all tasks on the prep list before shifts end.
  2. Prepare various food items for cooking, including sauces, dressings, and chopped ingredients.
  3. Properly rotate, store, and label food items to ensure freshness.
  4. Utilize kitchen equipment safely, including food processors and ovens.
  5. Assist in the cleaning, stocking, and organization of food and beverage inventory.
  6. Load and unload supplies as necessary.
  7. Maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas, including floors and tables.
  8. Foster teamwork and communicate effectively with all kitchen staff.
  9. Adhere to safety and sanitation standards to protect consumer health.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of culinary terms, food items, and kitchen equipment.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to learn basic cooking techniques and safety protocols.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Must possess the physical stamina to perform duties in a fast-paced environment, including lifting up to 75 pounds. The role requires standing, walking, and the ability to operate kitchen tools and equipment effectively.
