Key Responsibilities:

  • Balances workforce across various projects to meet changing demands.
  • Ensures adherence to all procedures, providing training when necessary for processing transactions.

  • Protects the company's inventory assets, ensuring the integrity of all transactions and maintaining overall inventory accuracy above 99.5%.
  • Promotes positive employee relations and morale while enforcing discipline as required.

  • Implements cost-saving initiatives where appropriate.
  • Travels to customer sites as needed for equipment start-up, training, service issues, troubleshooting, and related service matters.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Licenses/Certificates/Designations - Forklift certification required; OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of heavy equipment operation experience (forklift certified).
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a construction setting.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management processes.
  • Knowledge of electrical, construction, or mechanical products.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Capability to operate hand and power tools and equipment.
  • Must be geographically mobile and willing to relocate based on project needs.
  • Ability to anticipate and prepare for customer requirements is preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and perform multiple tasks simultaneously is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Work Environment:
  • Outside Sales - Work is primarily conducted in an office setting, but travel to customer sites or warehouse facilities may be necessary. Driving may be required for extended periods with frequent stops and starts, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions is possible.
  • Outdoors - Work is generally performed in an outdoor environment, but employees may occasionally work in an office or warehouse. Exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and moisture, is expected.
Physical Requirements:
  • Work is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds.
  • Job may involve excessive bending or stooping.
  • Employees are required to walk long distances repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Climbing ladders may be necessary.
  • Use of hand tools is required.
  • Employees will operate heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, etc.).
