Nursing Assistant

Overview:
Dallas Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in the Telemetry Department. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will assist with activities of daily living, provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic nursing care, including vital sign measurements and medication administration.
- Maintain a safe environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces.
Qualifications:
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
- Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office preferred.
