Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper, Lighthouse to join our team at Lighthouse Senior Living. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential areas, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, common areas, and facilities.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure that resident living and recreational areas are maintained in a clean and safe manner.
• Follow established safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
• Participate in quality assessment and improvement programs to ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with terminal cleaning procedures when residents are discharged or transferred to another room/area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a senior living or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning and disinfecting procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
