Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels, place orders, and restock medical supplies and equipment as necessary.
  • Administer prescribed medications, including injections, within the scope of practice.
  • Efficiently operate a multi-line phone system, handling calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining effective communication.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to support clinic operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant or surgical technician program.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical back-office experience.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on follow-through.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and initiative in work responsibilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as an integral member of a team.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks, resolving issues, and handling conflicts effectively.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential.
  • Full range of motion required, including the ability to assist with patient handling.
  • Vision, hearing, and speech must be within normal ranges to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
