About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to provide routine technical support in the environmental service of residents at Southwood Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance rounds to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care.
  • Log and date all equipment checks and tests to maintain accurate records.
  • Perform routine, damage, and cosmetic repairs to maintain the facility's appearance and functionality.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled training, education classes, and orientation programs to enhance quality of care.
  • Maintain and work within established departmental, center, and corporate policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or G. E. D. equivalent.
  • 1 - 2 years related experience.
  • HVAC certification required.
