Chewy is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team in Pittston, PA. As a Pharmacist at Chewy, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care and wellness services to our online pet parents and their pets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
  • Review prescriber medication orders for potential dosing, scheduling, contraindication, allergy, drug interaction, and/or incompatibility problems
  • Communicate effectively with Veterinarians, their staff, and pet parents as required
  • Oversee and direct pharmacy technicians and interns, providing ongoing training and coaching as needed
  • Maintain necessary records to fulfill Federal and State legal requirements and pharmacy policies
  • Uphold operational standards, including performance metrics, safety, and compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (RPh) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Active pharmacy license in the state of Pennsylvania with license in good standing and other states and credentials as required
  • Strong customer service and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead a team and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a variety of schedules, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
