We are seeking a highly skilled PLC Technician - Automation Specialist to join our team at Refresco. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining programmable logic controller (PLC) systems used within our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Programming: Design and program PLC systems to meet the needs of our production lines, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on PLC systems, as well as other advanced production equipment, to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make necessary repairs or adjustments to get production back on track.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and engineering, to ensure seamless integration of new equipment and processes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, repair history, and equipment upgrades.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in industrial automation, PLC programming, and maintenance.
- Skills: Strong understanding of PLC systems, electrical systems, and electronics; experience with troubleshooting and repair of complex equipment; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
