Paraprofessional Assistant

Soliant is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to support special education students in the Perry, Michigan area.

We are looking for experienced paraprofessionals to assist special education teachers in various classroom settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to help students succeed and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Provide support to special education students in various classroom settings.
• Assist teachers with classroom management and instructional activities.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of special education teachers.
• Support students with daily living skills and social interactions.
• Monitor and document student progress and behavior.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a positive learning environment.

• Associates degree or higher preferred Or a passing score on the Para-pro assessment
• Previous experience working with special education students is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Must pass a background check and meet other district requirements.
