Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse, your primary duties will include:
- Evaluating the health concerns and requirements of clients, formulating and executing nursing care strategies, and maintaining comprehensive medical documentation.
- Administering nursing services and offering guidance to clients and staff regarding health preservation and illness prevention.
- Managing cases effectively to ensure optimal care delivery.

Essential Duties
- Oversee daily appointment requirements and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared for staff.
- Manage the nursing schedule, ensuring adequate coverage and attendance.
- Supervise staff as necessary, including medication administration and daily living activities.
- Review and follow up on incident reports, providing assessments as needed.
- Evaluate findings from appointments and implement necessary changes to care plans.
- Authorize prescribed medications and treatments.
- Monitor clients' health status, including vital signs and ongoing health issues.
- Participate in interdisciplinary planning meetings as scheduled.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medication administration records.
- Provide on-call support and manage resources effectively.
- Conduct assessments for falls risk, skin integrity, and choking as needed.
- Prepare for and submit assessments prior to scheduled planning meetings.
- Maintain organized health care documentation.
- Ensure medication storage is clean, organized, and free of expired medications.
- Conduct regular narcotics inventory checks.
- Order medications that are nearing depletion.
- Facilitate bi-weekly orientation training as required.
- Complete monthly nursing summaries and reconciliations.
- Review medication exchanges at designated locations.
- Develop and update medication support plans as necessary.
Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited nursing program or a valid Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Possession of a valid driver's license from the state of residence.
- Minimum age of 18 years with at least one year of nursing experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to assigned locations.
