Art Supply Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Store Sales Associate to join our team at Blick Art Materials. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting art supplies, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist customers in finding the right art supplies, offering product recommendations, and providing demonstrations and tutorials as needed.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of art supplies, including products, pricing, and promotions.
- Contribute to visual merchandising efforts, including setting up displays, arranging products, and maintaining store standards.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, promote products, and maintain a positive store environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months of previous retail, sales, and/or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
