We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to join our team at NURSING Plains Regional Medical Center. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Certification Requirements- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory. These certifications must be obtained through recognized organizations such as the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
- The position adheres to a 75-mile straight line radius rule for travel assignments. Local travelers are not eligible.
- Candidates must have an active nursing license and should not contact the facility directly.
- Time off requests made after acceptance will not be accommodated.
- Applicants must provide at least two references, including one from a current manager, along with a resume and a completed skills checklist.
- This is a 13-week assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years of current experience in the unit, with a preference for ICU experience.
- The role may require floating to other departments, primarily ICU, as needed.
- Shifts may vary to meet staffing needs, including on-call duties, weekends, and holidays.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg/Tele or Progressive Care units is required; ICU experience is preferred.
- Completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment is necessary.
- Shifts are 12-hour varied positions, primarily in Med-Surg/Tele, with potential floating to ICU.
- Shifts may change based on departmental needs, with on-call, weekend, and holiday shifts required.
- Travelers must not have been employed by the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for the past 12 months to be eligible for this travel position.
- Travelers will be the first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within a 20-mile radius of their assigned location.
- State tax obligations will be managed through the agency and reflected in the invoicing process.
- It is essential to ensure accurate submission of SS# and DOB.
