Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Technician to join our team at GE Healthcare. As a Biomedical Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and repairing biomedical equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Evaluate customer biomedical equipment issues and implement appropriate repairs
* Perform planned maintenance and safety/environmental inspections to support customer healthcare delivery
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols to ensure regulatory compliance
* Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up
* Identify and report customer quality or compliance concerns to the Quality Organization
Requirements
* Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in a related field
* Experience with electronic digital circuitry and electronic or electro-mechanical devices
* Ability to interpret schematic diagrams
* Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
Preferred Qualifications
* Ability to work after-hours and/or rotate on-call schedule
* Ability to lift/move up to 35lbs
