Social Skills Groups for Children with Learning Differences

Creative Speech Solutions, LLC is seeking a part-time experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to lead Saturday Social Skills Groups for children with learning differences (ages 3-9). The mission of the group is to improve perspective taking, non-verbal communication, conversation skills, problem solving, emotional regulation, and flexible thinking.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree from an accredited speech therapy program
  • NJ State License, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in pediatric private practice and/or school setting
  • Experience creating and running social skills groups and providing therapeutic services for children with delays or disorders in the areas of various diagnosis and development levels
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills and a strong desire to work with children with developmental disabilities
  • Patience, persistence, and ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team
