Role Responsibilities

As a Plumber, your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues. We encourage you to take the next step in your career with us.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Executing engineering projects, responding to guest requests, and performing preventative maintenance in guest units, common areas, and grounds as directed by resort management.
  • Installing, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing essential equipment within resort operations, including booster pumps, water heaters, recirculation pumps, and boilers.
  • Effectively utilizing resort operational tools and software (HotSOS) while maintaining professional communication through various channels.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical specifications, and operation manuals.
  • Carrying out custodial and maintenance tasks as assigned by resort management.
  • Conducting basic plumbing installations and maintenance on toilets, bathtubs, showers, faucets, and sinks, including unclogging and repairs.
  • Working with various piping materials such as CPVC, PVC, PEX, copper, cast iron, black steel, and brass.
  • Connecting piping using methods like gluing, soldering, welding, and mechanical fittings.
  • Performing leak tests by filling systems with water or air and monitoring pressure gauges to identify leaks.
Qualifications

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various outdoor weather conditions.
  • Possession of a valid Florida state Driver's License.
