Responsibilities- Provide direct resident care under the supervision of licensed professional nursing staff.
- Assist with or complete oral hygiene, bathing, dressing, shaving, nail care, and hair care of residents according to their plan of care.
- Assist staff nurses with treatment procedures as directed, in an accurate and precise manner.
- Prepare and transport residents for meals, set up their trays, and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Accompany residents during admission, transfer, and discharge processes, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.) preferred.
- Successful completion of the 75-hour Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification course required.
- Nebraska Nurse Aide Registry (NAR) certification required.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification strongly preferred.
