We are seeking a dedicated Transportation Specialist to join our team at North Montgomery School. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of students while maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with team members.
Responsibilities- Safely transport students from designated pick-up/drop-off spots, adhering to federal, state, and School Board rules.
- Maintain order and discipline on the bus, fostering a conducive learning environment.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, guaranteeing its roadworthiness.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the bus interior and exterior, promoting a healthy and comfortable space for students.
- Timely completion and submission of all relevant paperwork, maintaining accurate records.
- Foster professional interactions with school employees, parents, and community members.
- Attend required safety meetings, staying updated on the latest protocols and procedures.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Demonstrate ability to meet Driver Performance Standards & Measurements.
- Pass a Department of Transportation Physical Exam.
