Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Transportation Specialist to join our team at North Montgomery School. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of students while maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with team members.

• Safely transport students from designated pick-up/drop-off spots, adhering to federal, state, and School Board rules.
• Maintain order and discipline on the bus, fostering a conducive learning environment.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, guaranteeing its roadworthiness.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the bus interior and exterior, promoting a healthy and comfortable space for students.
• Timely completion and submission of all relevant paperwork, maintaining accurate records.
• Foster professional interactions with school employees, parents, and community members.
• Attend required safety meetings, staying updated on the latest protocols and procedures.

• Pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Demonstrate ability to meet Driver Performance Standards & Measurements.
• Pass a Department of Transportation Physical Exam.
