About the Position

This Senior Finance Advisor role is part of the Development Finance Partnerships Unit (DFPU) within the Bureau for Inclusive Growth, Partnerships, and Innovation (IPI). The DFPU serves as a central node to support USAID's development finance work, managing and supporting key private sector and interagency partnerships.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of loan and/or guarantee proposals to determine their financial, technical, economic, legal, marketing, and political feasibility.
  • Perform in-depth analyses of the nature of proposed business ventures, financial statements, country-related macroeconomic and microeconomic risks, and other relevant analyses.
  • Liaise with key interested parties on loan and/or guarantee terms, including collateral security and completion support, and policy requirements.
  • Prepare recommendations and required papers and correspondence, presenting loan and/or guarantee proposals to various interagency stakeholders.
  • Provide expertise on development finance and implementing transactions and/or programs leading to development outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field and 8 years of experience applying expertise through extensive knowledge and experience, OR Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, debt management, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience providing strategic guidance to senior-level leaders.
  • Senior-level knowledge of finance, economics, and international relations to ensure efficiency of programming.
  • Experience developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Experience with resource and budget planning and management.
  • Previous banking experience.
  • Ability to attain and maintain a Secret-level clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current holder of an active Secret-level security clearance is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience with Loan Guarantees.
Compensation

Dexis Consulting Group offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 — $140,000 USD for this role.
