Job Title: Data Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Walker & Dunlop. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting with database management, working with the Database Manager to gather business requirements, and building dimensional data models.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement database requirements in FileMaker and integrations between multiple systems.
- Assist with database design and maintenance based on the organization's needs and implement appropriate solutions to meet needs and comply with departmental standards.
- Develop packages for extracting, cleaning, transforming, and loading data into the database from various sources (SQL, Excel, Access, flat files).
- Develop packages to push data from the database to front-end applications.
- Create MS SQL Server views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Conduct performance tuning and query optimization using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler, and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Document processes and procedures relating to the management of the data warehouse.
- Assist with development and scheduling of reports.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field or equivalent technical or professional experience required.
- Experience with vlookups and pivot tables in Excel.
- Prior experience with Filemaker is a plus.
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is a plus.
