Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to join our team in Jericho, NY. As a member of our trial team, you will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial. The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures, as well as outstanding research abilities, written and oral advocacy skills, and the ability to independently manage a busy time-sensitive caseload.

Responsibilities
  • Handle a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies
  • Conduct research and analysis to support trial preparation
  • Prepare and present written and oral arguments
  • Manage and coordinate with support staff on clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling
Requirements
  • Law degree from ABA-accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in New York and be a member in good standing with the New York state bar
  • 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience
  • Experience working in a paperless environment
  • Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation

  • Competitive salary range: $125,625.00-$160,000
  • Potential yearly incentive pay up to 16% of base salary
