About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at The Blakeley in Shakopee, MN. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our multifamily properties, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a safe and healthy living environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets to optimize resource allocation and minimize costs.
- Collaborate with property managers, maintenance staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify and address maintenance needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding promptly to maintenance requests and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to maintenance and property management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., facilities management, construction management) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, procedures, and regulations; ability to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including residents, staff, and vendors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely; ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
