Inter-State Studio & Publishing Co. is seeking talented Visual Storytellers to become part of our dynamic team. With a legacy of over 90 years in the photography industry, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and innovation in capturing moments that matter.

Role Summary:
As a Visual Storyteller, you will be responsible for setting up photography equipment, directing poses, and capturing images of students and staff in various educational settings. This role requires a blend of technical photography skills and the ability to engage with individuals in a lively environment. If you possess a keen eye for detail and excel at making subjects feel at ease, we would love to hear from you.

Work Schedule:
This part-time, seasonal role is perfect for those who enjoy working with youth and seek a flexible work arrangement. Expect to work approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential to increase to 40 hours based on performance. Your workdays will vary according to school schedules, typically starting early and lasting between 8 to 10 hours. This flexibility allows you to balance personal commitments, and we are happy to accommodate time-off requests. Our schedule aligns with the academic calendar, providing ample time off during summer and winter breaks.

Compensation:
We offer competitive pay, including compensation for travel time and mileage.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation capable of accommodating a mobile studio.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred to effectively communicate with diverse groups.
• Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience in photography, particularly in posing and capturing expressions, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PC computers and photography software is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
