Job Title: Child Focused Therapist

At Ellie Mental Health, we're seeking a compassionate and skilled Child Focused Therapist to join our team. As a full-time or part-time therapist, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality mental health care to children, adolescents, and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and referrals to minor clients and their parents/guardians.
  • Create and implement treatment plans, complete ongoing documentation, and maintain accurate case notes.
  • Collaborate with other Child Services providers, including medication management, psychological assessment services, and other mental health providers.
  • Coordinate services with external care providers, including case managers, families, medical personnel, and other Ellie staff.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
  • Clinical licensure or be on licensure track for LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LP, etc.
  • Passion and experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Knowledge of developmental principles and awareness of the intersection between normative child development and psychopathology.
  • Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with DC: 0-5, ECSII/CASII, SDQ assessments.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems, including collection of co-payments.
