Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Breast Imaging Coordinator to join our team at Danbury Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our breast imaging department, providing excellent patient care and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

* Coordinate scheduling for all breast imaging procedures, including biopsies and follow-up exams
* Ensure timely access for patients, communicating with physicians and other departments as needed
* Maintain accurate records, including demographic information and test results
* Provide educational materials to patients about their procedures and test results
* Work collaboratively with our clinical management team to improve department efficiency and patient satisfaction

Requirements:

* High school graduate or equivalent
* 3+ years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in a breast imaging department
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Familiarity with Cerner, Document Imaging, PACS, and Soarian Scheduling software

Salary: $20.00-$32.50 per hour
