Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Driver Helper to join our team at Republic Services. As a Driver Helper, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient collection of residential waste.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Drivers in loading and unloading waste from collection vehicles.
  • Direct Drivers from the ground to ensure safe and efficient route navigation.
  • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Interact with customers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and professional service delivery.
  • Monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste and take corrective action as needed.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of waste collection procedures and safety protocols.
