Job Summary:

As a Registered Art Therapist with Potomac Healthcare Solutions, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care through art-based therapy programs. Your expertise will enable patients to express themselves creatively, promoting emotional healing and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement art therapy assessments to support the multi-disciplinary team in understanding patient symptoms and reactions.
  • Plan and direct recreational programs that cater to patients' diverse needs and interests.
  • Encourage patients to engage in leisure activities, fostering a sense of community and social connection.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Art Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Art Therapy within the past 4 years.
  • Current certification as a Registered Art Therapist from the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB).
  • Ability to provide two letters of recommendation from supervisors or administrators who can attest to your skills and experience.
