About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support our high-growth business, managing large contracts and mergers and acquisitions activities. As a key member of our finance team, you will work closely with finance and executive leadership to determine and establish processes to support the growth and scalability of our back-office operations.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including accounts payable, fixed assets and intercompany transactions.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, coordinating with global accounting team across various business units and external partners as needed.
  • Prepare necessary documents and materials for tax and financial audits.
  • Produce error-free accounting and financial reports and present their results to executives.
  • Respond to tax notices, file tax returns, and coordinate with tax consultants.
  • Identify errors and trends to suggest ways to improve team performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
  • Ensure revenue recognition according to ASC 606.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, or a CPA with 3+ years of experience.
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience in all phases of financial statement audits.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, Sage Intacct and QuickBooks preferred.
  • Extensive Microsoft Excel experience, including designing and maintaining financial models.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to independently manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to proactively spot and remediate potential problems.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, eager to make an impact in collaboration with a global team.
