Job Summary

The Acute Care CNA/UAP provides nursing care for patients during a specific work period. This role functions in a structured care setting described as geographic and/or situational environments where the policies and procedures for provision of health care are established.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care for patients during a specific work period.
  • Function in a structured care setting described as geographic and/or situational environments where the policies and procedures for provision of health care are established.
  • Have knowledge relative to the ages of patients served.
  • Meet the requirements for the position, including high school graduate or equivalent, CNA license, and completion of a course in the fundamentals of nursing and pharmacology.
  • Pass a background check and drug screen.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • CNA license.
  • Completed and passed first year of accredited nursing school.
  • In good academic standing.
  • Satisfactory completion of a course in the fundamentals of nursing that has been verified by the Director of Nursing.
  • Satisfactory completion of a pharmacology course that has been verified by the Director of Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen.
