Position Overview

The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organization. This position involves the meticulous compilation and analysis of financial data under the guidance of senior management. The analyst will be responsible for generating and evaluating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure the accuracy of recorded financial information.

Key Responsibilities


1. Assist in the preparation of comprehensive financial reports on a weekly, monthly, and year-end basis, including variance and trend analysis against budget forecasts and previous years’ results.

2. Contribute to the creation and enhancement of budgeting and forecasting tools, including the development and testing of financial models utilizing Excel and other reporting systems.

3. Provide analytical insights and support to management across various operational and functional units, including ad-hoc reporting and problem-solving initiatives.

4. Ensure the reliability of financial reporting software by collaborating with external consultants and conducting ongoing testing procedures.

5. Identify and analyze trends and developments within competitive markets, presenting findings to senior leadership.

6. Work with complex datasets and collaborate with IT teams utilizing Power BI and SQL for data analysis.

7. Manage a designated dashboard focused on procure-to-pay data analytics.

8. Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.

- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.

- Strong background in financial reporting systems.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with management at all levels.

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines.
