Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment. As a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including adjusting equipment settings and using image processing software
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, exam results, and equipment maintenance
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography
- 1-2 years of experience in radiology or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
